Benbrook Lions Club is a volunteer organization committed to serving the needs of the Benbrook area.
What exactly does the Lions Club do for Benbrook? Many things! Emphasis is placed on preservation of sight, with many area underprivileged school children receiving eye exams and glasses. Fund raisers, as well as other activities
during the year, sustain the following
projects:
- Sending children with medical conditions to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Texas
- Support of the Organ and Eye Bank in Fort Worth, Texas
- Support the annual Christmas Tree Lighting/Food Drive
- Pitching in and helping with many other civic activities
The Benbrook Lions Club also makes donations to local organizations such as:
- Benbrook Elementary Playground Equipment: $508
- Westpark Elementary Playground Equipment: $508

- Benbrook Nursing Home: $275
- Spirit of Christmas Gifts for Kids: $1,125
- WHHS Athletic Booster Club: $225
- District 2E2 Outstanding Youth: $125
- Girls Scout Troop 2502 - Bluebonnet Seeds: $250
- Youth Scholarship: $1000
- Eye examinations and eyeglass purchases: $3535
